12 Now choose twelve men, one from each of the tribes of Israel. 13 When the priests who carry the Covenant Box of the Lord of all the earth put their feet in the water, the Jordan will stop flowing, and the water coming downstream will pile up in one place.”
14-15 It was harvest time, and the river was in flood.

New International Version
12 Now then, choose twelve men(A) from the tribes of Israel, one from each tribe. 13 And as soon as the priests who carry the ark of the Lord—the Lord of all the earth(B)—set foot in the Jordan, its waters flowing downstream(C) will be cut off(D) and stand up in a heap.(E)”
14 So when the people broke camp to cross the Jordan, the priests carrying the ark of the covenant(F) went ahead(G) of them.
