Joshua 5:9-11
New Living Translation

9 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the shame of your slavery in Egypt.” So that place has been called Gilgal[a] to this day.

10 While the Israelites were camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, they celebrated Passover on the evening of the fourteenth day of the first month.[b] 11 The very next day they began to eat unleavened bread and roasted grain harvested from the land.

9 Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” So the place has been called Gilgal[a](A) to this day.

10 On the evening of the fourteenth day of the month,(B) while camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, the Israelites celebrated the Passover.(C) 11 The day after the Passover, that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land:(D) unleavened bread(E) and roasted grain.(F)
