Jude 5-7
Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition
Judgment on False Teachers
5 Now I desire to remind you, though you were once for all fully informed, that he[a] who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels that did not keep their own position but left their proper dwelling have been kept by him in eternal chains in the nether gloom until the judgment of the great day;[b] 7 just as Sodom and Gomor′rah and the surrounding cities, which likewise acted immorally and indulged in unnatural lust, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

Jude 5-7
New International Version
5 Though you already know all this,(A) I want to remind you(B) that the Lord[a] at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe.(C) 6 And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.(D) 7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah(E) and the surrounding towns(F) gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.(G)
