¹⁶ Now the sons of ^(A)the Kenite, Moses’ father-in-law, went up from the ^(B)city of palms with the sons of Judah, to the wilderness of Judah which is in the south of ^(C)Arad; and they went and lived with the people.

¹³ And he gathered to himself the sons of Ammon and Amalek; and he went and struck Israel, and they possessed ^(A)the city of the palm trees.

¹⁵ Then ^(A)the men who were designated by name arose, took hold of the captives, and they clothed all their naked ones from the spoil; and they gave them clothes and sandals, fed them and ^(B)gave them drink, anointed them with oil, led all their feeble ones on donkeys, and brought them to Jericho, ^(C)the city of palm trees, to their brothers; then they returned to Samaria.
