Judges 1:7-9
New Life Version
7 Adoni-bezek said, “Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off had to gather their food under my table. Now God has paid me for what I have done.” So they brought him to Jerusalem and there he died.
8 Then the men of Judah fought against Jerusalem and took it. They destroyed it with the sword and set the city on fire. 9 After this the men of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites living in the hill country, in the Negev and in the plains.

New International Version
7 Then Adoni-Bezek said, “Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off have picked up scraps under my table. Now God has paid me back(A) for what I did to them.” They brought him to Jerusalem,(B) and he died there.
8 The men of Judah attacked Jerusalem(C) also and took it. They put the city to the sword and set it on fire.
9 After that, Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites living in the hill country,(D) the Negev(E) and the western foothills.
