Judges 19:4-6
New English Translation
4 His father-in-law, the girl’s father, persuaded him to stay with him for three days, and they ate and drank together, and spent the night there. 5 On the fourth day they woke up early and the Levite got ready to leave.[a] But the girl’s father said to his son-in-law, “Have a bite to eat for some energy,[b] then you can go.” 6 So the two of them sat down and had a meal together.[c] Then the girl’s father said to the man, “Why not stay another night and have a good time?”[d]

New International Version
4 His father-in-law, the woman’s father, prevailed on him to stay; so he remained with him three days, eating and drinking,(A) and sleeping there.
5 On the fourth day they got up early and he prepared to leave, but the woman’s father said to his son-in-law, “Refresh yourself(B) with something to eat; then you can go.” 6 So the two of them sat down to eat and drink together. Afterward the woman’s father said, “Please stay tonight and enjoy yourself.(C)”
