Judges 2:13-15

13 They abandoned the Lord, and worshipped Baal and the Astartes. 14 So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he gave them over to plunderers who plundered them, and he sold them into the power of their enemies all around, so that they could no longer withstand their enemies. 15 Whenever they marched out, the hand of the Lord was against them to bring misfortune, as the Lord had warned them and sworn to them; and they were in great distress.

13 because they forsook(A) him and served Baal and the Ashtoreths.(B) 14 In his anger(C) against Israel the Lord gave them into the hands(D) of raiders who plundered(E) them. He sold them(F) into the hands of their enemies all around, whom they were no longer able to resist.(G) 15 Whenever Israel went out to fight, the hand of the Lord was against them(H) to defeat them, just as he had sworn to them. They were in great distress.(I)
