4 While the Messenger of Yahweh was saying this to all the people of Israel, they began to cry loudly. 5 So they called that place Bochim [Those Who Cry]. They offered sacrifices there to Yahweh.

6 Now, Joshua sent the people of Israel home. So each family went to take possession of the territory they had inherited.

4 When the angel of the Lord had spoken these things to all the Israelites, the people wept aloud,(A) 5 and they called that place Bokim.[a](B) There they offered sacrifices to the Lord.

6 After Joshua had dismissed the Israelites, they went to take possession of the land, each to their own inheritance.
