Judges 20:4-6
New English Translation
4 The Levite,[a] the husband of the murdered woman, spoke up, “I and my concubine stopped in[b] Gibeah in the territory of Benjamin[c] to spend the night. 5 The leaders of Gibeah attacked me and at night surrounded the house where I was staying.[d] They wanted to kill me; instead they abused my concubine so badly that she died. 6 I took hold of my concubine and carved her up and sent the pieces[e] throughout the territory occupied by Israel,[f] because they committed such an unthinkable atrocity[g] in Israel.

New International Version
4 So the Levite, the husband of the murdered woman, said, “I and my concubine came to Gibeah(A) in Benjamin to spend the night.(B) 5 During the night the men of Gibeah came after me and surrounded the house, intending to kill me.(C) They raped my concubine, and she died.(D) 6 I took my concubine, cut her into pieces and sent one piece to each region of Israel’s inheritance,(E) because they committed this lewd and outrageous act(F) in Israel.
