⁸ The anger of the Lord burned against Israel so that he sold^(A) them into the hands of Cushan-Rishathaim^(B) king of Aram Naharaim,^[a](C) to whom the Israelites were subject for eight years.

² So the Lord sold them^(A) into the hands of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor.^(B) Sisera,^(C) the commander of his army, was based in Harosheth Haggoyim.

⁹ “But they forgot^(A) the Lord their God; so he sold them^(B) into the hand of Sisera,^(C) the commander of the army of Hazor,^(D) and into the hands of the Philistines^(E) and the king of Moab,^(F) who fought against them.
