Judges 6:36-38

36 Then Gideon said to God, “If you will save Israel by my hand as you have said, 37 look here, I am placing a woolen fleece on the threshing floor. If dew is found only on the fleece, but all the ground around it is dry, then I will know that you will deliver Israel by my hand, as you have said.”
38 And that is exactly what happened! Gideon got up early in the morning and squeezed the fleece and wrung out dew from it—a bowlful of water!

New International Version
36 Gideon said to God, “If you will save(A) Israel by my hand as you have promised— 37 look, I will place a wool fleece(B) on the threshing floor.(C) If there is dew only on the fleece and all the ground is dry, then I will know(D) that you will save Israel by my hand, as you said.” 38 And that is what happened. Gideon rose early the next day; he squeezed the fleece and wrung out the dew—a bowlful of water.
