⁸ he sent them a prophet,^(A) who said, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I brought you up out of Egypt,^(B) out of the land of slavery.^(C)

⁹ I rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians. And I delivered you from the hand of all your oppressors;^(A) I drove them out before you and gave you their land.^(B)

⁸ As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking^(A) me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you.

⁶ Then Samuel said to the people, “It is the Lord who appointed Moses and Aaron and brought^(A) your ancestors up out of Egypt.

⁸ “After Jacob^(A) entered Egypt, they cried^(B) to the Lord for help, and the Lord sent^(C) Moses and Aaron, who brought your ancestors out of Egypt and settled them in this place.
