9 Then I delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of all your oppressors, and drove them out from before you and gave you their land. 10 Then I said to you, “I am Adonai your God. You are not to fear the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are dwelling. But you have not obeyed My voice.’”

11 Then the angel of Adonai came and sat under the terebinth that was at Ophrah, that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon was beating out wheat in the winepress—in order to hide it from the Midianites.

9 I rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians. And I delivered you from the hand of all your oppressors;(A) I drove them out before you and gave you their land.(B) 10 I said to you, ‘I am the Lord your God; do not worship(C) the gods of the Amorites,(D) in whose land you live.’ But you have not listened to me.”
11 The angel of the Lord(E) came and sat down under the oak in Ophrah(F) that belonged to Joash(G) the Abiezrite,(H) where his son Gideon(I) was threshing(J) wheat in a winepress(K) to keep it from the Midianites.
