26 You yourselves must obey[a] my statutes and my regulations and must not do any of these abominations, both the native citizen and the resident foreigner[b] in your midst, 27 for the people who were in the land before you have done all these abominations,[c] and the land has become unclean.

26 But you must keep my decrees and my laws.(A) The native-born and the foreigners residing among you must not do any of these detestable things, 27 for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled.
