6-7 Then the priests will skin[a] the animal and quarter it, and build a wood fire upon the altar, 8 and put the sections of the animal and its head and fat upon the wood. 9 The internal organs and the legs are to be washed, then the priests will burn them upon the altar, and they will be an acceptable burnt offering with which the Lord is pleased.[b]

7 The sons of Aaron the priest are to put fire on the altar and arrange wood(A) on the fire. 8 Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat,(B) on the wood(C) that is burning on the altar. 9 You are to wash the internal organs and the legs with water,(D) and the priest is to burn all of it(E) on the altar.(F) It is a burnt offering,(G) a food offering,(H) an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(I)
