8 Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, with the head and the (A)suet, on the wood which is on the fire that is on the altar. 9 Its (B)entrails, however, and its legs he shall wash with water. And (C)the priest shall offer all of it up in smoke on the altar as a burnt offering, an offering by fire as (D)a soothing aroma to the Lord.
10 ‘But if his offering is from the flock, either from the sheep or from the goats, as a burnt offering, he shall offer a (E)male without defect.

8 Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat,(A) on the wood(B) that is burning on the altar. 9 You are to wash the internal organs and the legs with water,(C) and the priest is to burn all of it(D) on the altar.(E) It is a burnt offering,(F) a food offering,(G) an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(H)
10 “‘If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep(I) or the goats,(J) you are to offer a male without defect.
