17 The priest must look them over carefully. If the sores have turned white, the priest must announce that the person is ‘clean.’ Then they will be ‘clean.’
18 “Suppose someone has a boil on their skin and it heals. 19 And suppose a white swelling or shiny pink spot appears where the boil was. Then they must show themselves to the priest.

17 The priest is to examine them, and if the sores have turned white, the priest shall pronounce the affected person clean;(A) then they will be clean.
18 “When someone has a boil(B) on their skin and it heals, 19 and in the place where the boil was, a white swelling or reddish-white(C) spot(D) appears, they must present themselves to the priest.
