⁴⁰“A man who has lost his hair and is bald^(A) is clean.

⁴⁰And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.

²⁰At this, Job got up and tore his robe^(A) and shaved his head.^(B) Then he fell to the ground in worship^(C)

²⁰Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,

³⁷Every head is shaved^(A)
and every beard^(B) cut off;
every hand is slashed
and every waist is covered with sackcloth.^(C)

³⁷For every head shall be bald, and every beard clipped: upon all the hands shall be cuttings, and upon the loins sackcloth.
