On the seventh day the priest will examine him again. If the diseased area has faded and not spread, the priest must declare him clean. It is only a rash. The person must wash his clothes and will be clean. But if the rash has spread after he has shown himself to the priest to be declared clean, he must show himself to the priest again. The priest will examine him one more time, and if the rash has spread, the priest must declare him unclean. It is an infectious skin disease.

On the seventh day the priest is to examine them again, and if the sore has faded and has not spread in the skin, the priest shall pronounce them clean;(A) it is only a rash. They must wash their clothes,(B) and they will be clean.(C) But if the rash does spread in their skin after they have shown themselves to the priest to be pronounced clean, they must appear before the priest again.(D) The priest is to examine that person, and if the rash has spread in the skin, he shall pronounce them unclean; it is a defiling skin disease.
