Leviticus 15:11-13

11 Anyone whom the man with the discharge touches without having rinsed his hands in water[a] must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 12 A clay vessel[b] which the man with the discharge touches must be broken, and any wooden utensil must be rinsed in water.

- Leviticus 15:12 tn The Hebrew term כְּלִי (keli) can mean “vessel” (v. 12a) or “utensil, implement, article” (v. 12b). An article of clay would refer to a vessel or container of some sort, while one made of wood would refer to some kind of tool or instrument.

11 “‘Anyone the man with a discharge touches without rinsing his hands with water must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening.
12 “‘A clay pot(A) that the man touches must be broken, and any wooden article(B) is to be rinsed with water.
13 “‘When a man is cleansed from his discharge, he is to count off seven days(C) for his ceremonial cleansing; he must wash his clothes and bathe himself with fresh water, and he will be clean.(D)
