Only in this way may Aaron enter the inner sanctuary. He shall bring a bull of the herd for a purification offering and a ram for a burnt offering. He shall wear the sacred linen tunic, with the linen pants underneath, gird himself with the linen sash and put on the linen turban.(A) But since these vestments are sacred, he shall not put them on until he has first bathed his body in water.(B) From the Israelite community he shall receive two male goats for a purification offering and one ram for a burnt offering.

“This is how Aaron is to enter the Most Holy Place:(A) He must first bring a young bull(B) for a sin offering[a] and a ram for a burnt offering.(C) He is to put on the sacred linen tunic,(D) with linen undergarments next to his body; he is to tie the linen sash around him and put on the linen turban.(E) These are sacred garments;(F) so he must bathe himself with water(G) before he puts them on.(H) From the Israelite community(I) he is to take two male goats(J) for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.
