Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bull for a purification offering and a ram for a burnt offering.(A) He shall put on the holy linen tunic and shall have the linen undergarments next to his body, fasten the linen sash, and wear the linen turban; these are the holy vestments. He shall bathe his body in water and then put them on.(B) He shall take from the congregation of the Israelites two male goats for a purification offering and one ram for a burnt offering.(C)

“This is how Aaron is to enter the Most Holy Place:(A) He must first bring a young bull(B) for a sin offering[a] and a ram for a burnt offering.(C) He is to put on the sacred linen tunic,(D) with linen undergarments next to his body; he is to tie the linen sash around him and put on the linen turban.(E) These are sacred garments;(F) so he must bathe himself with water(G) before he puts them on.(H) From the Israelite community(I) he is to take two male goats(J) for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.
