^15 (A)And when any person eats an animal which dies or is torn by beasts, whether he is a native or a sojourner, he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and remain unclean until evening; then he will become clean.

⁸ He shall not eat ^(A)an animal which dies or is torn by beasts, becoming unclean by it; I am Yahweh.

²¹ “^(A)You shall not eat anything which dies of itself. You may give it to the sojourner who is within your gates, so that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner, for you are ^(B)a holy people to Yahweh your God. ^(C)You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.

³¹ The priests shall not eat any bird or beast that has ^(A)died of itself or has been torn to pieces.
