Leviticus 18:20-22

The Message

²⁰“Don’t have sex with your neighbor’s wife and violate yourself by her.

²¹“Don’t give any of your children to be burned in sacrifice to the god Molech—an act of sheer blasphemy of your God. I am God.

²²“Don’t have sex with a man as one does with a woman. That is abhorrent.

²⁰“‘Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor’s wife^(A) and defile yourself with her.

²¹“‘Do not give any of your children^(B) to be sacrificed to Molek,^(C) for you must not profane the name of your God.^(D) I am the Lord.^(E)

²²“‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman;^(F) that is detestable.^(G)

²⁰Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.

²¹And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the Lord.

²²Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
