²⁵Thus the land became defiled, and I punished it for its iniquity, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.^(A)

New International Version

²⁵Even the land was defiled;^(A) so I punished it for its sin,^(B) and the land vomited out its inhabitants.^(C)

²⁶But you shall keep my statutes and my ordinances and commit none of these abominations, either the native-born or the alien who resides among you

²⁶But you must keep my decrees and my laws.^(A) The native-born and the foreigners residing among you must not do any of these detestable things,

²⁸otherwise the land will vomit you out for defiling it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

²⁸And if you defile the land,^(A) it will vomit you out^(B) as it vomited out the nations that were before you.
