3 Do not follow the practices of the land of Egypt,(A) where you used to live, or follow the practices of the land of Canaan,(B) where I am bringing you. You must not follow their customs.(C) 4 You are to practice My ordinances(D) and you are to keep My statutes(E) by following them; I am Yahweh your God. 5 Keep My statutes and ordinances; a person will live(F) if he does them.(G) I am Yahweh.

Do not follow their practices.(A) 4 You must obey my laws(B) and be careful to follow my decrees.(C) I am the Lord your God.(D) 5 Keep my decrees and laws,(E) for the person who obeys them will live by them.(F) I am the Lord.
