²⁵But on the fifth year, you may eat its fruits to increase its produce for you.”

²⁶“You are not to eat anything containing blood, engage in occult practices,^[a] or practice fortune telling.^[b]

²⁷“You are not to cut your hair in ritualistic patterns^[c] on your head or deface the edges of your beard.

“‘Do not practice divination^(B) or seek omens.^(C)

²⁷“‘Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.^(D)

²⁶Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

²⁷Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.
