⁷ ¶ Sanctify yourselves therefore, ^(A)and be holy, for I am the Lord your God.

¹⁸ Furthermore thou shalt say unto the people, ^[a]Be sanctified against tomorrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for you have wept in the ears of the Lord, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for we were better in Egypt: therefore the Lord will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.

¹³ Up therefore, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus saith the Lord God of Israel, There is an execrable thing among you, O Israel, therefore ye cannot stand against your enemies, until ye have put the ^[a]execrable thing from among you.
