Leviticus 21:22-24

22 He may eat his God’s food, from the most holy things[a] and from the holy things. 23 But he must not enter the curtain, and he must not come near to the altar, because a physical defect is in him, and he must not profane my sanctuary, because I am Yahweh, who consecrates them.’”
24 Thus[b] Moses spoke to Aaron and to his sons and to all the Israelites.[c]

New International Version
22 He may eat the most holy food of his God,(A) as well as the holy food; 23 yet because of his defect,(B) he must not go near the curtain or approach the altar, and so desecrate my sanctuary.(C) I am the Lord, who makes them holy.(D)’”
24 So Moses told this to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites.
