⁸ You shall sanctify him, for he offers the bread of your God. He shall be holy to you, for ^(A)I, the Lord, who sanctify you, ^(B)am holy.

¹⁵ that he may not profane his offspring among his people, for ^(A)I am the Lord who sanctifies him.”

²³ but he shall not go through the veil or approach the altar, because he has a blemish, that he may not ^(A)profane my sanctuaries,^{[a] (B)}for I am the Lord who sanctifies them.”

^32 (A)And you shall not profane my holy name, that ^(B)I may be sanctified among the people of Israel. ^(C)I am the Lord who sanctifies you,

¹³ “You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you.
