14 A person might make a mistake and eat a holy gift. He must give back to the priest the same food. He must also give one fifth more. 15 The priest must not give the Lord's holy gifts to people who are not from Aaron's family. The gifts would become unclean. 16 If the people eat them they are sinning. They will have to pay for their sin. I am the Lord and I make them holy.’

14 “‘Anyone who eats a sacred offering by mistake(A) must make restitution to the priest for the offering and add a fifth of the value(B) to it. 15 The priests must not desecrate the sacred offerings(C) the Israelites present to the Lord(D) 16 by allowing them to eat(E) the sacred offerings and so bring upon them guilt(F) requiring payment.(G) I am the Lord, who makes them holy.(H)’”
