⁵ For ^(A)if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly ^(B)practice justice between a person and his neighbor, ⁶ if you do not oppress the stranger, the ^[a](C)orphan, or the widow, and do not shed ^(D)innocent blood in this place, nor ^(E)follow other gods to your own ruin,

⁶ and that no one violate the rights and ^(A)take advantage of his brother or sister ^(B)in the matter, because ^(C)the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also ^(D)told you previously and solemnly warned you.
