Leviticus 25:37-39
International Standard Version
37 You are not to loan him money with interest or sell him your food at a profit. 38 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.
39 “If your brother with you becomes so poor that he sells himself to you, you are not to make him serve like a bond slave.[a]
