Leviticus 26:19-21
Contemporary English Version
19 until your pride is completely crushed. I will hold back the rain, so the sky above you will be like iron, and the ground beneath your feet will be like copper. 20 All of your hard work will be for nothing—and there will be no harvest of grain or fruit.
21 If you keep rebelling against me, I'll punish you seven times worse, just as your sins deserve!

19 I will break down your stubborn pride(A) and make the sky above you like iron and the ground beneath you like bronze.(B) 20 Your strength will be spent in vain,(C) because your soil will not yield its crops, nor will the trees of your land yield their fruit.(D)
21 “‘If you remain hostile(E) toward me and refuse to listen to me, I will multiply your afflictions seven times over,(F) as your sins deserve.
