4 He shall also take away the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, and upon [a]the flanks, and the caul on the liver with the kidneys.
5 And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar, with the burnt offering, which is upon the wood, that is on the fire: this is a sacrifice made by fire for a sweet savor unto the Lord.
6 ¶ Also if his oblation be a peace offering unto the Lord out of the flock, whether it be [b]male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

- Leviticus 3:6 In the peace offering it was indifferent to offer either male or female, but in the burnt offering only the male: so here can be offered no birds, but in the burnt offering they might: all there was consumed with fire, and in the peace offering put apart.

4 both kidneys(A) with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys. 5 Then Aaron’s sons(B) are to burn it on the altar(C) on top of the burnt offering(D) that is lying on the burning wood;(E) it is a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(F)
6 “‘If you offer an animal from the flock as a fellowship offering(G) to the Lord, you are to offer a male or female without defect.
