Leviticus 4:23-25

23 [a](A)if his sin [b]which he has committed is made known to him, he shall bring for his offering a [c](B)goat, (C)a male without defect. 24 He shall lay his hand on the head of the male goat and slay it in the place where [d]they slay the burnt offering before the Lord; it is a sin offering. 25 Then the priest is to take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on (D)the horns of the altar of burnt offering; and the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of burnt offering.

New International Version
23 and the sin he has committed becomes known, he must bring as his offering a male goat(A) without defect. 24 He is to lay his hand on the goat’s head and slaughter it at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered before the Lord.(B) It is a sin offering.(C) 25 Then the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar(D) of burnt offering and pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.(E)
