Leviticus 4:27-29

27 “‘If[a] anyone[b] of the people of the land sins by an unintentional wrong by violating[c] one of Yahweh’s commands that should not be violated,[d] so that[e] he incurs guilt, 28 or his sin he has committed[f] is made known to him, he shall bring[g] as his offering a female goat without defect[h] as his offering for his sin that he committed.[i] 29 He shall place[j] his hand on the sin offering’s head and slaughter the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

27 “‘If any member of the community sins unintentionally(A) and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, when they realize their guilt 28 and the sin they have committed becomes known, they must bring as their offering(B) for the sin they committed a female goat(C) without defect. 29 They are to lay their hand on the head(D) of the sin offering(E) and slaughter it at the place of the burnt offering.(F)
