13 A perpetual fire shall be kept burning on the altar. It shall never go out.

The Law of the Grain Offering

14 This is the law of the grain offering. The sons of Aaron shall offer it before the Lord on the altar. 15 He shall take from it a handful of the flour of the grain offering, and of the oil and all the frankincense which is on the grain offering, and shall burn it on the altar for a pleasing aroma as a memorial to the Lord.

14 “‘These are the regulations for the grain offering:(A) Aaron’s sons are to bring it before the Lord, in front of the altar. 15 The priest is to take a handful of the finest flour and some olive oil, together with all the incense(B) on the grain offering,(C) and burn the memorial[a] portion(D) on the altar as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.
