^3 (A)Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and ^(B)you shall keep my Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

^12 (A)“For six days you shall do your work, but on the seventh day you shall rest; that your ox and your donkey may have rest, and the son of your servant woman, and the alien, may be refreshed.

^15 (A)For six days shall work be done, but ^(B)the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. ^(C)Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death.

^21 (A)“For six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest. In ploughing time and in harvest you shall rest.

¹⁴ But ^(A)the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus ^(B)had healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, ^(C)“There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.”

^8 (A)“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. ^9 (B)Six days you shall labour, and do all your work, ¹⁰ but the ^(C)seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the ^(D)sojourner who is within your gates. ¹¹ For ^(E)in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

¹² “‘Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. ¹³ For six days you shall labour and do all your work, ¹⁴ but ^(A)the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant, or your ox or your donkey or any of your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates, ^(B)that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you. ^15 (C)You shall remember that you were a slave^[a] in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there ^(D)with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
