² “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘These are my appointed festivals,^(A) the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.^(B)

³ Say to them: ‘This is the food offering you are to present to the Lord: two lambs a year old without defect,^(A) as a regular burnt offering each day.^{(B) 4} Offer one lamb in the morning and the other at twilight,^{(C) 5} together with a grain offering^(D) of a tenth of an ephah^[a] of the finest flour^(E) mixed with a quarter of a hin^[b] of oil^(F) from pressed olives. ⁶ This is the regular burnt offering^(G) instituted at Mount Sinai^(H) as a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord.^{(I) 7} The accompanying drink offering^(J) is to be a quarter of a hin of fermented drink^(K) with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the Lord at the sanctuary.^{(L) 8} Offer the second lamb at twilight,^(M) along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you offer in the morning.^(N) This is a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^(O)

⁴⁰ to present burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of burnt offering regularly, morning and evening, in accordance with everything written in the Law^(A) of the Lord, which he had given Israel.

¹³ according to the daily requirement^(A) for offerings commanded by Moses for the Sabbaths,^(B) the New Moons^(C) and the three^(D) annual festivals—the Festival of Unleavened Bread,^(E) the Festival of Weeks^(F) and the Festival of Tabernacles.^(G)

¹³ “‘Every day you are to provide a year-old lamb without defect for a burnt offering to the Lord; morning by morning^(A) you shall provide it.^{(B) 14} You are also to provide with it morning by morning a grain offering, consisting of a sixth of an ephah^[a] with a third of a hin^[b] of oil^(C) to moisten the flour. The presenting of this grain offering to the Lord is a lasting ordinance.^{(D) 15} So the lamb and the grain offering and the oil shall be provided morning by morning for a regular^(E) burnt offering.^(F)

¹¹ “From the time that the daily sacrifice^(A) is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation^(B) is set up, there will be 1,290 days.^(C)
