⁹ Then you are to sound a trumpet loudly in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month; you will sound it throughout your land on the Day of Atonement.^(A)

²⁴ The priests, Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, were to blow trumpets^(A) before the ark of God. Obed-edom and Jehiah were also to be gatekeepers for the ark.

³¹ He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet,^(A) and they will gather His elect from the four winds,^(B) from one end of the sky to the other.

¹⁶ For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,^[a](A) with the archangel’s^(B) voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ^(C) will rise first.
