Birth of Jesus Foretold

²⁶ In the sixth month the angel ^(A)Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named ^(B)Nazareth,

^16 (A)And I heard a man's voice ^(B)between the banks of the ^(C)Ulai, and it called, ^(D)“Gabriel, make this man understand the vision.”

²¹ while I was speaking in prayer, the man ^(A)Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the first, ^(B)came to me in swift flight at ^(C)the time of the evening sacrifice.
