78 Because of the tender mercy of our God,
With which (A)the Sunrise from on high will visit us,
79 (B)To shine on those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death,
To guide our feet into the (C)way of peace.”
80 (D)Now the child grew and was becoming strong in spirit, and he lived in the deserts until the day of his public appearance to Israel.

78 because of the tender mercy of our God,
by which the rising sun(A) will come to us from heaven
79 to shine on those living in darkness
and in the shadow of death,(B)
to guide our feet into the path of peace.”(C)
80 And the child grew and became strong in spirit[a];(D) and he lived in the wilderness until he appeared publicly to Israel.
