Luke 11:26-28
The Voice
26 So he goes and finds seven other spirits even worse than he is, and they make themselves at home in the man’s life so that he’s worse off now than he was before.
27 As He is speaking, a woman shouts out from the crowd and interrupts Him.
Woman: How blessed is Your mother’s womb for bearing You! How blessed are her 28 breasts for nursing You!
Jesus: No, how blessed are those who hear God’s voice and make God’s message their way of life.
Luke 11:26-28
New International Version
26 Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first.”(A)
27 As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.”(B)
28 He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God(C) and obey it.”(D)
