28 But he said, Yea, happy are those who hear the word of God and keep it.
29 When the people were gathered thick together, he began and said, This is an evil nation. They seek a sign, but no sign will be given to them except the sign of Jonah the prophet. 30 For as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of man be to this nation.

29 As the crowds increased, Jesus said, “This is a wicked generation. It asks for a sign,(D) but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.(E) 30 For as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so also will the Son of Man be to this generation.
