⁵⁰ But I have a baptism to undergo,^(A) and how it consumes^(B) me until it is finished!^(C)

³ Or are you unaware that all of us who were baptized^(A) into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?^(B)

¹⁰ We always carry the death of Jesus^(A) in our body, so that the life of Jesus may also be displayed in our body. ¹¹ For we who live are always being given over to death^(B) for Jesus’s sake, so that Jesus’s life may also be displayed in our mortal flesh.

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.^(A) The life I now live in the body,^[a] I live by faith in the Son of God,^(B) who loved^(C) me^(D) and gave himself^(E) for me.^(F)
