12 And when Jesus saw her, He called [her to Him] and said to her, Woman, you are released from your infirmity!

13 Then He laid [His] hands on her, and instantly she was made straight, and she [a]recognized and thanked and praised God.

14 But the [b]leader of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd, There are six days on which work ought to be done; so come on those days and be cured, and not on the Sabbath day.(A)

14 Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath,(B) the synagogue leader(C) said to the people, “There are six days for work.(D) So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath.”
