22 The Day of the Son of Man.[a] Then he said to his disciples, “The time will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. 23 People will say to you, ‘Look, there he is,’ or ‘Look, here he is.’ Do not go running after them. 24 For just as lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day.

New International Version
22 Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man,(A) but you will not see it.(B) 23 People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them.(C) 24 For the Son of Man in his day[a] will be like the lightning,(D) which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.
