6 And he came down hastily, and brought him home joyfully. 7 And when the people saw that, they all murmured, saying, He has gone in to stay with a man that is a sinner.
8 And Zacche stood forth and said to the Lord, Behold, Lord: half of my goods I give to the poor, and if I have done any man wrong, I will restore him fourfold.

6 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly.
7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.”(A)
8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord,(B) “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything,(C) I will pay back four times the amount.”(D)
