Luke 2:24-26
International Standard Version
24 They also offered a sacrifice according to what is specified in the Law of the Lord: “a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”[a]
25 Now a man named Simeon was in Jerusalem. This man was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the one who would comfort Israel,[b] and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die[c] until he had seen the Lord’s Messiah.[d]

New International Version
24 and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: “a pair of doves or two young pigeons.”[a](A)
25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout.(B) He was waiting for the consolation of Israel,(C) and the Holy Spirit was on him. 26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Messiah.
